I am proud, so very proud...we are saying goodbye to 228 items...WHAT? yes, that is correct, TWO HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT items...the kids went through some stuff with me...and there are things that are gone from our house that are not pictured...
*Blue's Clues thinking chair (yes, we had a toddler size red thinking chair. it was J's, given to him by my parents when he was a toddler. he is now ten!)
*Dora the Explorer bath play set (approximately nine pieces)
*Dora the Explorer book...(I actually could count all the pieces...it was a book with about six small disks that were put into a small projector...you pointed it at a blank wall and watched it)
NOW, to the pictured...
*2 mr potato heads and all of the 33 parts
*3 train cars with all of the 31 wooden parts to build a different train each time
*2 play fire trucks
*water bottle
*photo album
*duplo building set (140 pieces plus container)
my friend was here the other day and she asked me...are you REALLY getting rid of things because the box of stuff I read about recently is still sitting in your kitchen?...
I just have not gotten rid of it...I have actually added to it!
my totals are tabulated on the sidebar. what a great sense of relief it is to rid your home of things you no longer need, use or want...they will be donated to the local good will or relief thrift center.
