I celebrated my First Communion in March of 1978...I had just turned 8 the week before. My daughter will celebrate her First Communion next May, after turning 8 in March. She is wearing the dress I wore, dare I say, 30 years ago...I don't know if she will be able to wear it as look how it fits her now! She really wants to wear it but let's face it, she is taller than I must have been. Maybe if we all cross our fingers? Okay, do it with me....oh, and hey, the crocs look great with it, don't they?

Um, what's wrong with her shoes?
If it is too short come May, you might still have options. You might be able to add to the bottom...or the bottom portion can be removed and another type of fabric added to make the skirt part. Don't give up on the idea of her wearing it though!!!!!!
Wow! Your dress looks soooo cute on her! Maybe she will be able to wear it with some adjustments.
