Okay, the only reason I went to this site is bc I saw it on my cousin's site and thought I would check it out. I had some help from my husband who also went to HS in the 80's but do you realize how long ago that was? My dh graduated a few decades ago ! Some of the songs we knew right away and some we just left blank. I do remember when MTV first came out, 1983 ?, and the very first video was the Buggles, Video Killed the Radio Star, oopps, I just gave away an answer....I remember sitting in the basement (yes, it was a finished basement) and watching MTV for long periods of time. I thought, hey, why didn't anyone thing of this sooner? Do you remember Martha Quinn? Mark Goodman? Nina Blackwood? Ah, the good ole days. The one man has since passed away, I remember reading about it in People Magazine in the last few years. The original VJ's. Dire Straits, I Want MTV.....remember the video where Marc Knoppler is dancing and playing the guitar barefoot?
