it is friday and snowy. the kids had school cancelled today. our district is third largest so in the state and has lots of farm land. the back roads can get treacherous. it is nice to have them both home and they are actually playing quite nicely.
the holiday music is on, the weather is cold and snowy and the mood is nice. we are going to bake cookies later, at least I hope so. I am also working on some homemade xmas gifts. it will be movie time after lunch.
only 16 more days until Christmas. hard to believe it will be here before we know it. the kids are excited for the holiday. we still have shopping to do, too.
