what do you think?

okay, okay...so I borrowed stole this from my cousin. the reason I did is because it is SO TRUE. read on, people.

Oh man. The clothes. The clean clothes just sitting in the laundry baskets waiting to be folded. This morning, before we head out for Fun Friday at the community center, I should just make myself fold 1 basket. It's not difficult, I know! But, I'm like the mouse in the book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie- I get distracted by one thing and then another. Here we go:

If you start to fold some clothes, you're going to remember your sock and underwear drawer is completely a mess and full of unmatched socks, so...

You're going to dump out the drawer on your bed and start matching socks and organizing the chaos we call undergarments. But then you're about to put the drawer back in the dresser when you spy dust bunnies having a party on the floor under the dresser, so...

You get the broom, dust mop and start sweeping up those bits of dusty grossness and realize you should just sweep the entire bedroom floor since you have all the tools right there, so...
You pick up the things on the floor, pile them on the bed, and start sweeping away. You decide to make this job complete, you need to vacuum the area rug, so....

You get the vacuum cleaner from the back bedroom closet and vacuum the area rug in your bedroom. Since you have the vacuum out, you decide to vacuum the kids' room's rug while you're at it, so...

You plug in the vacuum, but you have to put away books, toys and clothes before you can actually begin to vacuum the rug, so...

You start putting away the books and toys, but then you decide to create a better system for organizing so you dump out the bins and start dividing the play things so it "makes sense" and start investigating what is in the toy box, so...

You begin taking the toys out of the toy box and begin an even bigger task of sorting/organizing/ putting away all the toys your children own. You decide you might as well switch over some toys with toys that are packed away in the basement, so...

You bring up the toy crate from the basement and begin the process of switching over the toys so your children have a new set to play with. You realize there are a lot of toys your children don't play with anymore, so...

You begin a donation pile with the older, unused toys and decide you might as well add outgrown clothes to the pile while you're at it, so....

You start looking in the drawers for clothes, only to realize there are not a whole lot there. You remember you have a basket of clothes you need to fold, so....

You go to the living room where you decide to fold just 1 basket of laundry until you realize....

your drawers in the bedroom need to be organized.
