reading and letting go

I have a link list of other reading...and I do frequent the other blogs...some more than others, but at least each one often. I just read one that I try to read every day...the author writes about how memories are in our heads and hearts, not in a piece of paper or something else we touch. but yet those pieces of paper or "something elses" trigger memories. for those of you who have read here lately, we have been cleansing our home of stuff..clothes that don't fit, toys that aren't played with. yet when I have been going through these things, some have triggered memories. over the past few months, I have gotten better with letting things go. I have too much stuff in my house. with four people, two being kids, there is so much stuff in our house.

does anyone else find it difficult to let things go? even though we all know that the memories are inside of us, in our brains, in our hearts, in our souls?...

Yeah, I know what you mean. And I know what blog you are referring to, because I thought about what he said too. It is hard to let things go that were your kids. My mom saved a lot of my things (ie: the FP projector I mentioned earlier) and it's all in my attic now. My kids love to look at it. So, I have tried to keep certain things for each of them to have when they are older. What they do with them is their choice. At least I saved them.
