this time, I do not have a funny video to post. I really don't have much to say other than I have posted a lot of video and maybe some of you, just maybe, come here to actually read.

tonight is the ball game. whew...our team has made it past two games in tournament play. this is the third year they have played together and the first two years?..well, not so good. we are playing the number 2 seed tonight (we are #4 seed) and we played them a few weeks back. we lost the game but showed them what we have. we gave up 6 runs bottom of the first but only because our boys were nervous...you see, the other team has a reputation for, um, not being so nice? they have strong pitchers but the fielding isn't on the A game. if our boys can get the stick on the ball and not let their hits to our outfield get by, then we are in. at one point in the last game, we were up by two runs. they had to win it in the bottom of six (little league, we play six innings) and really, we should have won. too long of a story for here.

WAIT? what am I saying? isn't that they point of blogs?

it was top of six, we were ahead by two, I believe. j was actually at the plate and a pitch went by that by all accounts was a called "ball" all night. however, at this point of the game, it was called a "strike"...(you see, home team provides the umpire behind the plate. visiting team provides an umpire between 1st and 2nd) we think the home plate ump was biased and really, the game was our to have. end of that half of inning.

bottom of six, they needed to score. kids were walked and to be honest, I am not one to remember every detail...but I will tell you this. if K was upset enough about a pitch ,then something was wrong. he usually just shrugs and it is over it. he actually had to get up and walk away to blow some steam.

I am looking forward to tonight, aren't you?
