we had severe thunderstorms the other day. the sky turned a very strange color...I tried to capture it but not sure if this photo really shows what it looked like. we ended up being on the edge of the worst and there were tornadoes reported north of us. still no air conditioning and with the daytime temps in the low 90's and humid, we are all trying our best to make the most of it. I was out today, running some errands, and let me tell you, the AC in the van plus the privilege of being in air conditioned stores, it was great!!

no a/c here either! it's a pain, but i appreciate that cool breeze when it visits us at night!
