rain, rain, go away
we have gotten tons of rain lately. where my parents live, they got tons of snow. many people had water in their basements, the river nearby was so high....these are photos of our backyard. luckily, we don't have a basement but a crawl space. we don't need to worry, at least we never have had to.

we have COLD weather!!! but some flooding in nearby areas, too. apparently we'll be getting snow tomorrow. ugh... i'm kind of ready for spring.
In Hungary...the weather is mild and sunny (mid 40's). Last week there was a large celebration here to say good bye to winter. It is like our Halloween (without the trick or treating) where kids dress up. However, in Michigan where I am actually from has been one snowstorm after another. The district where I teach has had 14 snow days!
