a few days have passed...work, family, friends...it all happens. what are your plans this weekend? we have movie plans..the kids have us convinced that we need to watch harry potter number 5 this weekend. we have slowly made our way through movies 1-4...I started to read the first book but could only get about 1/3 of the way through and had to quit. I just couldn't get into it. the movies, on the other hand, I like. some of it is confusing and we have to pause so I can ask questions....do you ever have to stop a movie that you are watching at home to ask, hey, what is happening?

two weeks...two more weeks until I make a trip home. the kids and I will go home for a short visit. I plan on meeting with high school classmates, sort of a mini reunion...not a formal meeting, but a gathering none the less. we will hopefully conference call in a member who lives in FL who is our awesome web master for the official site for our class. there is a local place we want to utilize the first night classmates are in town, too. I think we might check it out as the last time, only a few people met. I keep in touch with one classmate fairly frequently but we have not seen each other in years. (I did bump into her over new years but it was at a restaurant and only for a bit.) some of the other classmates I have known since elementary school and others, only in high school. it will be great to see everyone and catch up. with the invention of email, it has been incredible to be in touch with old friends.

and then some...looking forward to the trip home....
