I am trying to sit and write some things for those of you who come and visit. I am been busy! yes, I know, I am not the only one in this world that is busy. let's see, since my last post...I had the flu. I had never had the flu in my life. I called my Mom, desperately wanting her to come and hold my hand, fluff my pillow, something. my Mom lives a few states away so this was not possible. she comforted me with her words and that would have to do. my bones hurt so badly, my temperature was up, then down. for those of you who have experienced the true flu, you understand. I don't wish it on anyone and I hope to never have it again. ever.
I have been in the other elementary schools in our district teaching hand hygiene lessons. I have taught in for the past 3 years at the school my children attend but this year, I ventured into the other two elementary buildings. I know this lesson so well I could probably recite while sleeping. staff and students were all friendly and I loved the experience of visiting other schools.
I will be starting a long term sub position on Monday. it is in my specific area, at least one of the subjects, but regardless, I am looking forward to it. the teacher who will be out is great and I know she will miss her students. I promised her I would email her updates and keep her up on what they are doing.
before you know it, Christmas will be here. I have four things bought...two for my husband and two for my daughter. that is it! how is everyone else doing?

You're going to do just fine at school. Remember to take care of yourself and learn that you don't have to do everything.
Love, Mom
And......I have to see your smiling face everyday!! I can't wait 8-)
how busy you'll be! it'll be fun to be in a classroom everyday- you'll be so tired that h or j should make dinner some nights! :) i don't have any adult gifts bought for christmas, but lots for kids so far. but, isn't that who christmas is really for?? :)
