our sleepy little town puts on a fireman's jamboree each summer. (you may have already seen the farm oddities.) for the past two summers, they have put on a laser light show at 11 PM. we were on our family vacation last summer in MI so we missed it but this time, my nephew, niece and parents were in town to spend time with us. my nephew was here all week and we loved having him (other than the usual things...yelling out the window, wrestling with J, sneaking snacks...) and want him to know he is welcome anytime. other than we need to purchase stock in pretzels!! ( I love you, G!!) anyway, here is a video from the laser show. I will post another one below.
oh, yeah, and does anyone come here to check things out? if so, I would love for you to leave me a note (comment) so I don't think I am posting for my own hedonist pleasure. although it is theaputic for me to write, sort of like a journal, it is always nice to absorb what others think. you never know, I might just have a thought about your comment and it will create another posting.

you know i do! i don't always leave comments, but i have learned that even with a request for people to leave comments, most don't. maybe it's their way of secretly looking into another person's life, just like it's our way of letting them in. i don't know. love, amy
