yes, you read correctly. there is no school today. the temps are really cold and with the wind chill, I suppose too cold to have kids walk, etc. now for the funny about it....I saw last night there was a 2 hour delay and again this morning, a 2 hour delay. I did not think anything else about it so off to school we go. the kids usually start at 8 AM and with a delay, today would have been 10 AM. Driving down Main St, I did not see any orange cones out for safety patrol. What? No school? Well, I had PTO stuff to copy so in we went. the principal was there and he had a good laugh about it. the building was so quiet...too quiet for me, but not for Mr. T...hey, remember Mr. T? what was that show? well this Mr. T is the principal, no reference to the former.
anyway, if you don't have school, enjoy your day.
