"I love you," said the child to her mother.
Those were the sweetest words the woman had heard all day.

Sometimes, the only words we need to hear are words that lift us up, maybe from some place we really don't want to be. People come and go throughout our lives. But it is the small, sometimes seemingly insignificant things, that are the most important, even if they come from a stranger.

A kind word. A thoughtful gesture. A smile from across the room. The joke no one even gets but laughs at anyway.

This is what is important in life. At least it is to me.
