Dinner

Okay, so it might look gross but it sure tasted good. It was one of those nights when you look in the fridge and freezer and see what is there and throw some stuff together. This combo is southern style hash browns sauteed with onion in one pan. In the other pan, I browned some chicken breasts with olive oil and then added one can cream of celery and one can cream of chicken soup. I tossed in some grated cheddar cheese and watched it melt. Then I got out our bowls and put some of the hashbrowns on the bottom, then added the chicken and sauce. I topped it off with a bit more shredded cheddar. I sprinkled some pepper on it and sat down to taste my creation. And you know what? It was pretty darn good. It sorta reminded me of the sunshine skillet at Bob Evan's...only it did not have the eggs or white biscuit gravy. So if you ever need something and the only things you have are southern style hashbrowns, chicken, canned soup and cheddar cheese, try this out. It is yummy!

that sounds good and something i'd totally eat! i love cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soups with rice, but the hashbrowns sound good too!
