Can you believe the price of gas? How are we supposed to go on vacation this summer? Or yeah, right, I forgot....vacation is in the backyard this year. Seriously, what's up at the gas station ? It takes about $50 to fill up if the tank is almost empty....WHAT? At least that's what it is in my tank, my dh's car...about $39. So where does your paycheck go ??

Aren't the prices crazy? I could almost understand the $3 a gallon price during the devasting hurricane season...a lot of oil refineries were hit hard. However, I work with a lady whose husband works for Phillips/Conoco. According to her, there is NO reason why the prices should be this high. Isn't it amazing what a change in government can do? I don't remember prices being above $1.50 when our president wasn't a former member of the oil industry. HMMMMMM....really makes you wonder if the "former" tag applies or not.
I can't believe the increases, either! It's really difficult to justify taking long road trips! Flying would be cheaper at any rate!
