the weather calls for rain and thunderstorms, can you believe it? we had some pretty good lightening this AM. i expect this kind of weather in the spring and summer. yesterday we had sun and warmer temps....today is dreary again.
the kids are having a sleep over at G and G's tonight. it will be H's first time. we had one planned before but she ended up with a really bad cold and did not go. i hope she does okay and won't want to come home. K and i plan on going out to dinner, yeah!, with a gift card my very good friend gave to us for the holiday. we have not been out on a date in so long, it will be nice. we could even sleep in tomorrow morning, what do you know! K has to work then about 10 so i will have the house to myself for a few hours before the kids come home. what will i do with myself? read, maybe. enjoy the quiet....right now H is screaming, yes, screaming, twinkle twinkle little star. J is trying to debate getting into the shower now that we haven't had lightening and thunder in almost two hours.
ah, the weekend, no school on monday. what will we do with ourselves? K has to work on monday but the kids and i can do something fun. actually, there is no school today either in our district....teacher in service day.
